Willow Rosenberg rolled over and looked at her alarm clock. The red numbers flashing 12:00. Willow rolled her eyes and sat up.

All the lights were off and her radio wasn't on anymore.

She got out of bed and went to her watch laying on her desk. 7:45.

Damn it! She was going to be late for school again. Why couldn't her parents just pay the bill on time and then we wouldn't have this problem.

Oh ya I remember because my dad is a drunk loser and my mom is a total psycho.

Willow sighed and quickly got dressed. Throwing her hair up into a ponytail. She grabbed her bag and walked out of her room.

The sounds of her parents fighting could be heard down the hall as Willow grabbed a package of dough nuts and left as quickly and quietly as she could. So as she wouldn't be dragged into the argument as well.

Well maybe things will change. She thought. She walked up to the school. Students screaming and yelling all riled up as summer faded away.

Nope. Just another ordinary high school day.
