By 11.30 the party was in full swing, everyone having already drunk enough for their inhibitions to be very low indeed. Having convinced Blaze that Tara was seriously off-limits to her, Willow was having a great time. She'd found that she actually knew a large amount of people there and having gotten caught up in reminiscing and drinking, she was now feeling a little worse for wear.

Despite not being the focus of Willow's attention, Tara too was enjoying herself, both she and Vince had sung and danced their way through the evening, joining in with the odd verse of 'Superman', Vince leaping around and doing all the actions much to the delight of the people who had been sat around the bar at the time.

As the alcohol flowed, the music got cheesier and the crowd became even more excited by it. Blaze's voice bellowed over the microphone, Tara hadn't noticed before that she was English and wondered how that had escaped her. "Hi-De-Hi?" she bellowed, hoping that the crowd would understand and respond. "Hi-De-Ho!!" they yelled back in unison, 'thank god for the campness!' Blaze thought, breathing a huge sigh of relief. "Make some noise for your bar staff!!" she screamed and the entire group turned towards Vince and Tara, cheering and waving their arms, boas and some even waving articles of clothing.

David had appeared in the doorway, his unpredictable temper and mood swings all but forgotten he was smiling, actually smiling! Blaze continued her assault on the ears of the partygoers, as the familiar sounds of Black Lace's 'Agadoo' burst into the room. "Well.... Go get 'em!" she yelled.

The crowd collectively began singing, a tall man ran to the bar and grabbed Vince by the hand, dragging him from behind the bar to join that party for at least one song. Tara managed to politely reject offers to join the melee, insisting that someone should be at the bar. She saw Willow talking to David in the corner and smiled sadly, the red head had barely spoken to her all night and she couldn't help but wonder if all they'd had was based purely on lust.

I met a hula mistress somewhere in Waikiki,
Well, she was selling pineapple, playing ukulele,
And when I went to the girl, "Come on and teach me to sway,"
She laughed and whispered to me, "Yes, come tonight to the bay."

The lovely beach, in the sky the moon of Kauai,
Around calypso sarong we'll all be singing this song

A hand landed firmly on Tara's back, "Go, dance!" David said, pushing the stunned blonde towards the hatch at the end of the bar and into Willow's waiting arms. Tara grinned, it was incredibly rare that David ever offered to cover for anyone, so this wasn't the time to argue, although the choice of song left much to be desired. Willow dragged her into the final line of people. Everyone had formed neat and orderly lines and were 'Agadoo-ing' in perfect synchronicity.

Shaking her head and blushing deeply, Tara joined the group.

Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, shake the tree,
Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, grind coffee,
To the left, to the right, jump up and down and to the knees,
Come and dance every night, sing with the hula melody.

Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, shake the tree,
Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, grind coffee,
To the left, to the right, jump up and down and to the knees,
Come and dance every night, sing with the hula melody.

"I'm not drunk enough for this!!" she called to Willow who turned and giggled as Tara tried to frantically remember the routine. Next to her, Vince appeared, moving in perfect time to the music and having the time of his life. Tara laughed as the routine came back to her and she let herself relax, enjoying the freedom to dance like a kid again. As the song drew to its conclusion, the crowd cheered, slapping both Tara and Vince on the backs as the returned to the bar, David however, seeing his staff having such a good time, slammed the hatch down. "Go on, do another one!" he said with a smile. "I got this under control."

It's astounding;
Time is fleeting;
Madness takes its toll.
But listen closely...

Vince jumped up and down, "C'mon Tara!" he said, grabbing her hand and leading her back to the dance floor.

Not for very much longer.

Vince pushed his friend back into the throng of people and she crashed into Willow.

I've got to keep control.
I remember doing the time-warp
Drinking those moments when
The Blackness would hit me
And the void would be calling...

Everyone in the room burst into song, drowning out the powerful sound system as they threw their arms in the air and sang:

Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

With Blaze assuming the role of the narrator, Tara and Vince danced the time warp with the other partygoers, momentarily forgetting that they were meant to be at work and enjoying the friendly atmosphere and freedom. Willow had slipped in to dance behind Tara, her hands interlacing with Tara's fingers and making the dancing difficult, but fun.

You bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane.

Willow thrust her hips gently into Tara's ass. She moaned quietly and her head fell back coming to rest on Willow shoulder. The red head turned and kissed her softly on the lips, her tongue gently caressing Tara's lips before slipping slowly into her mouth. Tara pushed her hips back into Willow, grinding her ass into the red head as they lost themselves in the moment, their surroundings, song and mass audience completely forgotten. The song came to, what Willow and Tara thought was an abrupt end and Tara slid out of Willow's arms, "I gotta get back to work sexy." She said sadly. Willow nodded but held her hand as she started walking away, only releasing it when Tara was at arms length away.

The rest of the night flew by and as the partygoers drifted, fell and sang their way out of the doors and into the night, Tara scanned the room looking for Willow. She finally found her, covered in silly string and still dancing. Tara laughed, she couldn't remember Willow looking more beautiful then that moment. Her eyes sparkling in the light, her body and spirit free to just have fun.

Having rushed through the clearing up, Tara crossed over to Willow who was, by now, sat on a chair talking to Blaze. "Hey sexy," she purred as her arms came to rest over Willow's shoulders, "You ready to get out of here?" Willow looked up and found deep blue eyes calling her up for a kiss. Willingly she obliged and after saying their goodbyes, they too headed out into the night.
