Luis came back onstage after Xander went off. He was drying his own eyes.

"Wow! That was wonderful and next will be the lovely Willow Rosenberg." Luis said. Willow knew this would happen. So she went up and chose the song she wanted and knew she was going to cry and be crushed if Tara still turned away from her.

Tara was looking at her with hurt in her eyes from seeing Willow stand up there looking so small and helpless. And Willow started to sing.

Tara couldn't believe what she was hearing. Willow thought she didn't love her anymore. 'Oh goddess Willow. I always loved you.' Tara thought as tears started welling in her eyes.

No matter how hard she tried. Willow just couldn't bring herself to look up at tara. Her soul mate. She could be crying or laughing at her. Willow just didn't want to know.

Green eyes slowly went up to meet blue. And Willow saw a hint of sapphire she put her head back down.

Willow ran off the stage, crying. Right into Alex's arms. Oh how Tara wished she could be the one to comfort and hold Willow, but she had to wait. She had to wait her turn.
