Summary: Tara's good day turns into a bad day... but could lead to something even better.

Tara's alarm goes off and she gets out of bed and tries not to wake up her girlfriend, Emily. It's 5:30 am, Tara walks into the bathroom and jumps into the shower. About 10 minutes later, Tara gets outand dries off and puts on her fuzzy sea-blue, sky-blue bathrobe, then walked back up to her bedroom.

Tara looked through her closet for something cute to wear. She finally decided on an orange and purple halter-top, with a giant smiley face on the front, and a light purple thin, short-sleeved jacket and a pair of boot-cut jeans. After she get's dressed, then she pulls her back in her usual bun.

It was now a little after 6:00 am, and Tara went into the kitchen and made some coffee and then she started cooking breakfast, pancakes. When she was finished, she went and sit in bed and kissed Emily and woke her up. Then went into Buffy and Faith's room, when she walked in there she looked to the floor and seen their clothes on the floor...and then two snuggled up naked together... Tara was kinda tired... the sounds from Buffy and Faith's room kept her up most of the night... Tara was actually thinking about taking a water hose to those two to shut them up...

Tara woke them up then left the room before they could get outta bed... as she left and closed the door she felt two warm hands slide around her waist, and a soft cuddley nose nuzzle into her throat...

"Good morning Tara-bear," said Emily in a sleepily, sweet and gentle voice.

"Morning sweetie," Tara responded, holding Emily's hands on her stomach. Then she turned back and kissed her, then walks back to the kitchen and flops pancakes on 4 plates on the table.

Emily sits down at the table and pours syrup on her flapjacks and then she takes a bite of one, then she pours a glass of milk and takes a sip to wash down the delicious pancake. Buffy and Faith then walk into the kitchen. "Have fun las night you two," Emily asked... smirking, holding back a laugh, but slightly giggled.

"Oh yes," Buffy and Faith both said at the same time. Then they looked at eachother and smiled, then kissed. After that, they joined Emily at the table.

"Where's Tara," Faith asked... looking around the room... then not even two seconds after she said that... Tara came back into the kitchen and sat down in the remaining seat at the table, "hey Tara, great pancakes." Fath started scarfing down her pancakes like a mad woman!

"I'm glad you like them," Tara looked amazed as Faith sucked down those pancakes like they were spagetti,"wow, you must really like them," Tara finished talking, then also ate her flapjacks and coffee aswell.

A few minutes later, Tara kissed Emily goodbye, then left for work. She got into her car and turned the radio on to her every morning talk show she listens to. As Tara drove to the college where she taugh Math and Science classes, she waited for the every morning trivia question.

"Ok everyone, this mornings question. What ingredient does a Tequilla, and a Screw Driver have in common?

Tara grabbed her cell phone...and dialed the number. She called a few times and then finally got through, she had to be the 107th caller to win. "Please let me be the 107th caller..."

"Hello! You're the 107th caller! If you can answer the question then you will win the mystery prize.

"Is it orange juice?"

"Yes! Ladies and gentlemen, I do believe we have a winner! What's your name?"

"Tara, Tara Maclay," Tara said all happy and excited.

"Congradulations Tara! You won a trip to the state of your choice in the USA. And, you can bring along up to 3 friends..."

"Awesome!"

"So where do you wanna go?"

"North Carolina..."

"Alright stay on the line and we'll hook you and your buddies up."

Tara won 4 plane tickets to North Carolina. She was obviously going to take her 2 best friends and her girlfriend.

On the remaining drive to work, Tara called up her friends and told them about it, then when she got to work she went to the main office, and asked for some time off, but was kinda nervous... the last girl that asked for time off was fired, but I guess it's worth a shot anyway.

"Hello? Mr. Branch," Tara walked in his office and then he answered her.

"Yes, Ms. Maclay?"

"I was wondering if maybe I could take a week off, I won these tickets to fly to North Carolina this morning and I really wanna go, can I," Tara asked, using a cute smile and trying to get him to say yes...

"Sure you can Ms. Maclay."

"Oh my god, really?"

"Sure. Take all the time off you want. You're fired!"

"Fired? All I wanted was a week off...," Tara left his office then got back to her car..., "he fired me?"

Tara went back home, then broke the news to her friends... then Emily broke up with her.
