Tara fell to the earth with a thud, landing right were Willow was skating.

"I have words now," Tara said. "I think I almost spoke one, I have bones now, I think I almost broke one." Tara stood up and tried to walk on the ice, but she fell on her butt.

Willow giggled, "You're very clumsy on ice."

"Clumsy," Tara said. "Do you know who I am?"

"Well," Willow said, "you're not my slayer in golden armor, but you are very nice. What's your name?"

"Tara fro-oops."

"Tara oops?" Willow asked.

"No," Tara said. 'Thank god I didn't say my real name,' she thought. "My name is Tara Maclay the tailor."

"A tailor," Willow said, "we need a tailor in town."

"Well," Tara said, "I need a town to tailor."

"Well," Willow said, "why don't you stay in January Junction?"

"That would be great," Tara said.

"This way," Willow said. "I'll race you."

Tara tired to run, but she fell down again. From their cloud home Faith and Dawnie could see what was going on to Tara.

"She's falling all over herself," Dawnie said.

"Tara Frost falling on ice," Faith said. "What's the world coming to?"

"We must not let allow harm to come to Tara," Giles said. "Faith, Dawnie, therefore you will also become human for the winter."

Now back in town Tara was eating dinner with Willow and family.

"Eat hearty," Riley said, "and curse Spike!"

"Don't say such things," Buffy said.

"On Hanukka," Riley said, "we share a turkey sandwich, without the turkey of course."

"Papa," Willow said, "Tara has no place to go, may she spend the night in the attic?"

"Of course," Riley said.

"I'll find a house tomorrow," Tara said. "It's very important I find a house."

"Oh," Willow said, "there are no empty houses in January Junction."

"Then I'll build one," Tara said.

"With what?" Buffy asked. "Spike has all the timber and the brick."

"But I've got to," Tara said. "And get a horse, a bag of gold..."

"Spike's the only one with a horse, and he owns all the gold, the vampire king," Buffy said.

"But even all the vampires hated him, so they all left," Riley said, "so he lives high up on Miserable Mountain.

No vampires would live with Spike, so he made Warren build him artificial ones out of iron. There was the Buffybot as his maid, and a whole army of iron vampires, and then there's Anya. Anya was a iron puppet that was constantly on Spike's hand.

"How's it going, Anya?" Spike asked.

"How do you think it's going, your hand is constantly up my ass!" Anya said. "Why couldn't I be a string puppet instead?"

Because the narrator said. This is the author's story, and I'm just the narrator, so shut up and be glad your in one of Trista's stories.

"God," Anya said, "the narrator's scared of the writer, what a messed up story. Thanks Trista!"

"Spike has got to be stopped!" Tara said. Then there was a knock at the door.

"Hello," Willow said, opening the door, and in walked Faith and Dawnie.

"I don't belive it," Tara said, "it's my old friends Faith and Dawnie."

"I hate to be a bother," Faith said, "but may we stay the night?"

"The more the merrier," Riley said.

"You won't regret this," Tara said. "With my friends by my side I'm sure Spike's days are numbered. First thing tomorrow we pay a visit to the vampire king."
