"Where are we goin'?" Willow asked fastening her seat belt securely around her waist.

"Ah madam, we're meeting Buffy." Xander said starting up the car.

"Cool."

"So what did you think of your therapist?" Xander asked pulling out of the hospital parking lot.

"She's alright." Willow looked out her window and grinned.

"Just alright? I noticed the looks between you two."

Willow whipped her head around. "There wasn't any looks."

"Oh c'mon Willow. I saw it. You were practically drooling." Xander teased.

She slapped him on the arm. "There was minimal drooling. I mean you couldn't even call it drooling. Maybe wetness on the lips."

"Which set?" He laughed out loud. He didn't even have to look over to know that Willow's mouth was dropped open wide.

"XANDER LAVELLE HARRIS!" Willow shouted out. "I cannot believe you just said that!"

Xander pulled into parking lot of a small café. He turned to the redhead and smiled. "Take it easy Will. So what if you had googly eyes for the blonde bombshell. She was totally hot." He took her hand in his. "It's about time you find someone else anyway."

"Xan, you know I'm with Julie. I can't do that to her." Willow looked at him with sad eyes.

"Do you love her?" He asked.

"YES!" She yelled. The closed her eyes and sighed. "I don't know." She looked down and then back at her best friend. "I..." She started.

Xander held up his hand. "Let's not talk about it anymore. Buffy's inside and I'm buying you lunch."

Willow unfastened her belt and pulled her purse from the floorboard. "I'll just accept is as an apology for the lips comment."

"HEY!" A shout came from the door from the café.

Willow waved at Buffy as she jogged over to the car. She opened the door and hugged the redhead tight. "How did your therapy go?"

"Great!" Willow answered. She quickly turned her head to Xander giving him a look to keep the whole Tara conversation to themselves.

"I'll just get your chair." He said as he got out of the car and pulled Willow's wheel chair from the trunk.

Buffy helped Willow out of the car when Xander came around. "There ya go." She carefully sat the redhead down into the chair.

Willow pushed the wheels and rolled inside as Buffy held the door open.

"Over there." Buffy pointed out a table and everyone took their seats.

Willow noticed four settings at the table. "Expecting company?"

"Yep." Buffy smiled sweetly and watched the door.

Willow and Xander looked over their shoulders and then back to the blonde.

"I've seen that look before. Is there a mister Buffy coming?" Willow asked as she took a drink of her water.

"No! Just waiting for my friend as in female friend."

Xander looked at her surprised. "Are you turning gay too?!"

The people in the restaurant looked at the three.

Buffy and Willow both hid behind their menus.

Xander took a long drink from his water to cool the heat of embarrassment that ran up to the top of his head. "Sorry." He said as he lowered the glass back down.

"Xan, no I'm not turning gay and she's just a friend. Like you and I are friends except she's prettier and smells nice." Buffy giggled when she saw him smell under his arms and the front of his shirt.

"I don't smell bad. I have the manly smell of a man." He held his shirt out. "Here, take a whiff."

Buffy shook her head and stuck out her tongue in disgust. "No thanks. I'll take your word for it." She looked up. "I'm going to the restroom." She got up and walked away.

Willow smacked Xander across the arm again. "Manly smell of a man? Take a whiff? How more disgusting can you be?"

"Call it my job as being a guy." He burped and reclined back in his seat.

"Yuck!" Willow said and giggled.

"Guys, you've met Tara." Buffy came around to the table with her arms interlinked with Tara's.

"Hey!" Tara squeaked out. She looked at Buffy in surprise.

Willow and Xander wore the same expression.

"Tara you sit in front of Willow." Buffy pointed out with her hand.

Tara politely nodded and took her seat. She glanced up and looked into the shimmering green eyes of Willow. The redhead smiled and then lowered her head.

"So Tara, how ya been?" Xander gave out a short chuckle and took another drink of his water.

"Oh fine. Had a few patients this morning but there was this one certain patient that I've taken a slight interest in." Tara played along. She looked over at Willow and noticed the blush that covered her features.

Willow looked at Buffy. "Buff can you help me to the restroom?"

"Oh sure Will." Buffy didn't hesitate to get up and wheel the redhead away from the table.

"Did I say something wrong?" Tara asked Xander.

He looked at her. "I think you might have hit a nerve that needed to be beaten to death."

"Huh?" She asked totally confused.

"Never mind. What are you having?" He pointed at his menu.

Tara raised her brow and looked down at the food selection.

Buffy pushed Willow inside the restroom door. The redhead took control of her chair and whirled it around.

"What the hell do you think you are doing inviting Tara to lunch?" Willow asked angrily.

Buffy knelt down in front of Willow. "Look. I've known Tara for a long time now. She's a sweetheart and I know she'll be good for you."

Willow threw up her arms and rolled her eyes. "How many times do I have to tell you that I'm with Julie?"

"And how many times are you going to call me during the night and cry because Julie has gone out or you two got into an argument or she came home drunk or how she slapped..."

"I GET IT!" Willow shouted out.

Buffy shook her head. "Honestly Will, I don't think you do. You know how I feel about that woman and Xander feels the same way. Will, we are family and I'm just practically sick to death of Julie."

Willow sighed. "Does Tara know about Julie and me?"

Buffy shook her head. "No. I just kinda told her a little about you." She laughed. "She wasn't interested at first until she saw you today. I think that cute smile and that flaming red hair kinda got her attention."

"Would you stop?" Willow smiled. "Just don't pressure me into anything O.K."

"You got it. Let's go have lunch." Buffy said as she held the door open for Willow.

"And when I turned around Willow had pulled her shirt up and pressed her chest up against the glass door. I swear they looked like two pink fried eggs."

Xander and Tara both burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" Willow asked as she pulled her chair into place.

Tara suppressed her laughter. "Xander and I were discussing sassy eggs."

Xander chucked and took a long drink from his water.

Willow looked at both of them as if they had lost their minds. "Ooooo kay." She shook her head and looked at her menu.

"Whatcha havin' Xan?" Buffy asked checking out her own menu.

"I am going to have the manly sized cheeseburger and fries with the double chocolate milkshake." He smiled and closed the folder. "How about you Buff?"

"Salad and water with Italian dressing. Tara?" Buffy looked over at the other blonde.

"That sounds good." She looked over at Willow. "You?"

"Oh um, I'll have the manly cheeseburger with the works and a soda." She said proudly and puffed out her chest.

Tara's eyes widened. Sassy eggs. She thought and giggled.

Willow lifted her gaze up to meet Tara's sapphire blue eyes. Beautiful. Willow thought.

Tara stared into Willow's emerald green eyes. Gorgeous.

"Will?" Buffy broke the two women out of their fixation.

"Hmmm?" Willow looked over lazily with a hint of desire.

Buffy grinned. "You gonna tell this guy what you want to eat?"

Willow looked up at the waiter. She quickly lost interest and stared back at Tara.

"She'll have the cheeseburger and fries with a soda." Buffy made Willow's order.

The waiter pointed his pencil at Tara. "And her?"

"Salad and water with Italian dressing." Xander answered helpfully.

"Alright be back soon." The young man said and walked away.

Buffy's beeper went off. "Damn!" She said as she pulled her cell phone from her purse. She dialed a number and held the piece to her ear. "Hello."

"Dr. Summers we have an emergency and need you to come to the hospital as soon as possible." The voice came over the line.

"Alright. I'll be there in fifteen." Buffy said and ended the call.

"Gotta get back to the hospital, Xander can you give me a ride?"

"Sure thing. Willow are you alright here?"

"Yeah, you'll be back won't ya?" Willow asked.

"Actually I have to get back to work, but Tara will take you back home. You don't mind do you?" He asked the blonde.

"Not at all. I'm free the rest of the afternoon." Tara replied giving a shy smile.

"What about your lunch?" Willow asked looking at Buffy then over at Xander.

"Duty calls Will. I'll grab something at work. You take it home and eat it later." Buffy said as she picked her purse and walked out the door. "See ya!" She called out.

Xander smiled at the two women at the table. "Call me later Will." He placed a fifty dollar bill on the table. "Lunch is on the Xan man."

Willow nodded and frowned. She didn't mind getting to know Tara but she felt guilty about it at the same time.

He waved as he walked out the door.

Willow looked at Tara. She found patterns on the table cloth and traced her finger over them.

Tara was looking around at the different paintings and photos on the wall. She sighed and looked at the distracted redhead. "That's the ugliest pattern I've ever seen." She commented trying to break the tension.

Willow giggled. "You know my mother had the same table cloth."

Tara's eyes widened. "Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend your mother or anything."

Willow rolled her eyes. "It was God awful. I snuck it out of the house when I was a teenager burned it. For weeks she looked for that thing."

Tara laughed out. "I suppose you were a little bit evil back when you were younger?"

"Maybe a little. I would tell you a story but it's kinda embarrassing." The redhead smiled.

"It wouldn't happen to be about you, a glass door and some sassy eggs would it." Tara smiled her crooked grin.

Willow's mouth dropped wide open. "Is that what Xander was telling you when we came back?"

Tara nodded.

"I'm gonna kill him!"

"No. It was cute. I would've paid good money to see that." Tara took a long drink of her water and winked at the blushing Willow.

Willow tilted her head to the side. "Are you flirting with me?"

"Maybe. Are you complaining?" Tara asked.

"It depends on what your intentions are."

"What if I said it was to get into your pants?" Tara said with a challenging tone.

"I'd say that you are going to be real embarrassed because our waiter is standing right beside you about to drop our lunches because of what you said." Willow laughed as Tara closed her eyes and a blush rose up her face.

"Shit!" Tara said in a whisper and lowered her head.

Willow looked at the more than shocked waiter. "I need the other salad and burger put in a take out tray."

The young man nodded and placed Willow and Tara's food on the table and took the other ones back into the kitchen.

"Now you said something about getting into my pants?" Willow asked and took a big bite of her burger.

Tara kept quiet as she took a bite of her salad.

"Should I remind you that you've already got as far as taking them off? What else do you want?"

Tara looked at the redhead. "Are you flirting with me now?"

"Maybe. Are you complaining?" Willow asked.

"It depends on what your intentions are." Tara asked as she seductively licked the dressing off her fork. "Mmm, that is so good. Do you want a taste?"

Willow gulped her food down. "Uh...I..."

"What's wrong Miss Rosenberg? You mean to tell me you are speechless?" Tara took her finger and dipped it in her dressing bringing it up to her lips and licking it off.

Willow watched with wide eyes. Her heart felt like it was going to pound out of her chest.

A high pitched beep came from Willow's purse.

"Excuse me." She told Tara in a higher pitched tone than usual.

She reached down and brought out of her phone and flipped it open.

NEW TEXT MESSAGE

Willow pushed a few buttons.

I AM SORRY FOR TODAY. I PROMISE TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU TONIGHT.
I LOVE YOU JULIE XOXOXO

Willow sighed and put her phone back into her purse. "Sorry about that."

"Do you need to go home?" Tara said. The look on the redhead's face told her that their flirting was immediately put to a halt.

"Uh yeah, I should go." Willow's guilt ate at her stomach. She was having fun but she knew that her life, no matter how miserable, it was with Julie.

"Y-your not going to finish your lunch?" Tara asked.

"Uh no. I kinda lost my appetite." Willow wiped her mouth with her napkin and pushed herself away from the table. "I'm going to call a cab."

"I can get this to go and give you a ride." Tara told her hoping they could spend a little more time together.

"You stay and enjoy the rest of your lunch. I'll grab a cab and...and I'll see you tomorrow." Willow pushed herself out into the isle.

"Willow wait!" Tar got up from the table. She reached into her purse and brought out a pen and a card. "If you need anything at ANYTIME, call me O.K." She handed it over.

"Thanks." Willow placed the card in her purse and wheeled herself out the door.

Tara sat down in her chair. She sighed as she pushed her salad around with her fork.
