Willow and Tara sat in cabin 6 and just talked. They knew that tomorrow they would have to do all the camp activities, so they wanted to get as much talking in as they could before then. It turned out that Tara was only year older than Willow, who was 17. Willow told Tara all about her family life, how she was born and raised in Sunnydale, and how her parents were never home, so she’s kind of been alone her whole life. Tara told Willow about how she was born in Alabama, but moved to a small town right next to Sunnydale called Xandaville when she 6 months old. She told her about her mother’s death and about never really having any friends in highschool. She steered away from talking about her family, but opened up about everything else. They talked for an hour and a half before they had to go to the dining hall for dinner. They walked to the door and both reached for the handle at the same time. Tara’s hand covered Willow’s. As soon as they felt the contact, they both pulled away.

“Oh, uh s-sorry. Y-you go first,” Tara said while backing off a bit so Willow would be able to open the door with ease.

“Oh no, it was my fault. I kinda slipped my hand onto the door handle. It was kinda hard to see. But yeah, you go ahead.” Willow said, also stepping back so Tara had easy access to the door.

“Haha, no really. I insist. Your hand was there first, so you go ahead,” Tara said, feeling kind of foolish for not just opening the door.

“Yeah but again, slippy hands. I kinda cheated my way onto the door handle. So, I will therefore not take no for an answer. I am putting on my resolve face!” Willow pointed to her face for emphasis.

“Alright, you win,” Tara said while turning the door handle. She walked out the door and Willow followed closely behind her. They walked to the dining hall together talking the entire way there.

Buffy sat on the bottom bunk in cabin 9. Her and Faith finally came to the conclusion, after arguing for half an hour, that Faith would get the top bunk for the first half of the time at camp, and Buffy would get it for the second half. Now they were settling who would get the dresser that was closer to the bed.

“Come on Faith. You can’t have the top bunk and the closer dresser. That’s just totally unfair,” Buffy tried to argue her point even though she was sure that Faith didn’t really care.

“But think of it B. I have to get down from the top bunk to get to my dresser. It is a longer distance. If you are looking at it from a distance perspective, my theory makes more sense!” Faith didn’t actually care if she got the closer dresser. She just found it amusing watching Buffy try to win the argument. She liked how Buffy would get a cute little pouty face whenever she felt like giving up, but wouldn’t. Faith walked over and sat at the end of the bottom bunk so she was closer to Buffy.

“But the dresser next to the bed is a little bigger and I have more clothes than you do. So if you look at it from a clothing perspective, my theory makes more sense!” I will not give in this time. Even if she does do that sexy grin when she gets her way. Wait, what? Scratch that thought. Who cares about her grin. Ha ha not me. Ok focus. I must win this one.

“Hmm. Ok, how about we each get half of each of the dressers. That way it is totally fair. No one gets the better deal,” Faith laughed internally. There was no way that would ever work, and she knew it. She just wanted to see how many more cute, pouty faces she could get out of Buffy.

“What? How does that work?” Buffy knew that Faith wouldn’t give up, and that the argument would go on forever. She knew that she would have to give in. “Fine,” she pouted “we’ll share the dresser. But I get to chose my own drawers.”

Faith congratulated herself for getting another pouty face out of Buffy. She decided that she put her through enough. “Nah B, I was just kidding. You can take the closer dresser. Do I look like the kind of person that would care about a dresser? I just wanted to see how many times I could make you pout,” Faith said while getting off of the bed and heading towards the cabin door.

“Why would you want me to pout?” Buffy asked, somewhat confused. She looked to Faith for an answer.

“Because it’s sexy,” Faith grinned at Buffy as she opened the door and walked out of the cabin. Buffy sat there, surprised at what Faith had just said. She then thought of something and smiled to herself. She did the sexy grin.
