Fic Challenge 3
Well, Kittens, I’ve been informed that there was a 3 week gap between the last two challenge postings. Since another three weeks have passed, and in the interest of remaining consistent, it’s time for another challenge!
BTW, the first two fic challenges are still open! So if you want to write a fic about baby pools full of Jello and power tools, or honor JustSkipIt and have W and T switch places….go right ahead...just post it to the other threads.
The required elements for this fic challenge are as follows:
- 1. Smut is optional -- any rating will be fine.
- 2. Willow and Tara are on a date. This date can happen at any point in their relationship - from first date to a special date for their Golden Anniversary. Where they go on their date, what they do on their date…that’s all up to you. It just has to be a date.
- 3. Tara should laugh at her own joke, just to realize it’s really not that funny.
- 4. Buffy must make a cameo during their date and unwittingly say something Anya-esque. Embarrassment should ensue - who the embarrassed party is…well, that’s up to you.
- 5. And now comes the “hard part” - this may require a tad of research for some of you. But, I promise, I’ve done the research myself. It’s easy-just use google. Willow must, at some point, quote a poem by either Adrienne Rich or Maya Angelou (oooohhh! aaaahhhh!). It must be clear that she is making a conscious effort to quote one of these authors. She doesn’t have to quote the ENTIRE poem…perhaps just a stanza. Again, I leave that up to you.
- 6. The fic must be completed in one posting -- it can be as long as you wish/need it to be, but you must have it done with one posting.
That’s pretty much it, Kittens. Again, this is meant to be fun -- light and fluffy is the goal. There should be minimal to no angst.
