As the girls walked towards their destinations, they were both thinking the same thing.

That went well...

Willow was happy about the date she had for Thursday night. I got a date. Oh yeah...I'm good! Score one for Team Willow!

Tara, on the other hand, was having a ferocious debate in her head. Was I being too forward tonight? I was so out of character...Only if Rachel could have seen me...Oh, God...She did see me for a little while...It was enough to make her want to leave. Way to set a good example, Tara. But Rachel said not to mess it up... I am NOT going to screw this up. I'm gonna make little sis happy. Ooh! I can offer Willow a ride! Shit...I need to run after her... Tara took off toward the shuttle buses and toward Willow.

Willow, who was still raving internally about her date, turned around when she heard her name shouted. Her face instantly lit up as she watched the beautiful blonde run to her.

"Is something wrong, Tara?"

Tara answered, out of breath. "No...I was just wondering if I could give you a ride back to...wherever you're going. I-I thought I could at least save you from having to r-ride the shuttle buses."

Willow smiled at Tara's thoughtfulness. "Sure, that would be great."

Tara returned the smile. "Okay, follow me, then."

The two girls walked back past Planet Hollywood toward the west side parking lot. After a short walk, Tara and Willow stopped beside a silver Pontiac Grand Am. Willow nodded appreciatively.

"Wow, nice wheels."

"Yeah. The rest of the car's nice, too."

Willow smirked. "I'm sure it is."

They both slid into the car, and put on their seatbelts.

As Tara started the car, the dark, melodic voice of Joan Armatrading wafted through the speakers. Tara immediately blushed as she remembered what song she was playing before she arrived at her destination.

How ironic...Is someone up there trying to tell me something?...

Willow also blushed as she heard the beginning of the song. She looked over at Tara with a small nervous smile and decided to say anything to mute the deafening lack of noise.

"I love Joan Armatrading. I think she has the best voice. Which CD is it?"

Tara smiled, even though she was still bright red in the cheeks. "I-It's actually the soundtrack to the movie Boys on the Side. H-Have you seen it before?"

Willow smiled. "Yes, actually. It's one of my favorite movies. Whoopi Goldberg's performance in that movie was spectacular."

"I-I'm a pretty big Drew Barrymore fan myself."

"She's okay, but Whoopi has the dreadlocks. I've always had a secret desire to get dreads."

Tara laughed as she turned on her blinker and headed out to the main road. "I t-think you'd look pretty silly with bright red dreadlocks."

"I didn't say they would look great; I've just always wanted them."

"Y-You getting dreads w-would be the equivalent of me getting an afro, Willow."

Willow laughed as she pictured Tara with a big blonde seventies afro. "Yeah, I guess you're right...this time."

Tara glanced over to the redhead and smiled. "I guess I am. S-so where am I taking you, exactly?"

"Oh. To the Disney All-Star Resort, please."

Tara nodded. "That's where Rachel is staying. We'll be there in no time." The two women remained quiet for the rest of the short trip, enjoying the music and the comfortable silence that had fallen between them.

Thunder
Don't go under the sheets
Lightening
Under a tree
In the rain and snow
I'll be your fire inside
Come running to me
When things get out of hand
Running to me
When it's more than you can stand
I said I'm strong
Straight
Willing
To be a
Shelter
In a storm
Your Willow
oh Willow
When the sun is out

After the short ride, Tara pulled her car into the main entrance of the resort. Willow looked at the blonde woman as she mustered up the courage to ask Tara a question. "Umm.Tara?"

"Yes?"

"Do you think maybe...I could get your...ummm...phone number? I promise not to call you too much.I just want to be able to get in touch with you so that we can make more plans for Thursday night. I mean, that is if you still want to go with me. I understand if you don't though, I won't be--"

"Willow." Tara took the redhead's phone from her hand. She programmed her number into the phone, and gave Willow a shy smile. "I-I'll see you on Thursday."

Willow smiled. "Okay. See you."

They shared one last smile, and Willow got out of the car. She waved goodbye to Tara and watched her drive until she was out of view. Willow sighed and started her trek to the hotel room. Willow entered the main building of the resort. The building was empty because it was so late. She exited through the back and dug her cell phone out of her pocket. As she passed the pool area, she heard someone yell out her name.

"Hey Willow!"

As she turned her head, Willow spotted Rachel and another girl lounging by the empty pool. Willow strolled up to the girls and pulled up a lounge chair. The girl sitting on the other side of Rachel smiled as Willow sat down. Rachel studied Willow's face for a few moments before she began speaking.

"So...How as dinner with my sister?"

Willow stole a quick glance at the girl sitting at the table with them. This didn't go unnoticed by Rachel.

"This is Beck, she's one of my best friends. Everything that's happened today, she already knows about."

Willow nodded, but she still didn't feel comfortable discussing such matters around a complete stranger. Well, it's not like I've known Rachel all my life. I've barely known her for 12 hours. Geez...I'm special

Beck could tell that the redhead wasn't all that comfortable with her at the table, so she stood up to leave. Rachel questioned her as she stood from the table.

"Where are you going, Beck?"

"I'm gonna head back to the room, I'm kinda tired."

Willow knew that it was her fault the other girl was leaving.

"No, you don't have to go. I-I don't mind if you stay here-"

"It's alright, really." She gave Willow a smile and then spoke to Rachel. "Give me a call when you get ready to come back to the room. I don't want you walking back there by yourself."

Rachel smiled at the shorter black girl. "Okay."

"Good then." She turned toward Willow. "It was nice meeting you, Willow."

Willow smiled. "Same here."

Beck turned and walked out of the pool area. Rachel watched her as she walked away. Then she abruptly turned back to Willow.

"So what is so secretive about this that she couldn't stay to hear it?"

Willow felt guilty for letting the girl leave. "Nothing. I didn't mind if she stayed-"

Willow looked up to see a grin pull at the corners of Rachel's mouth. As she saw this, a pout overcame her previously guilty face. Rachel started laughing at the frowning redhead.

"Man, you are so easy! Tara told me she had you going a few times."

Willow looked slightly confused. But she just dropped me-"

"-you off at the resort, I know." She picked up her cell phone and waved it at Willow. "That's why we use these little contraptions. I was actually talking to her when I saw you walking by, so I told her I would call her later."

"Oh. Well...what did she say about me?" Willow asked with her big green eyes looking juvenile and cute. Rachel couldn't help but smile at the redhead.

"Well, the phrase 'so hot' was repeated numerous times throughout our small conversation..."

"Really?"

"Yeah. It was kinda nasty."

"Yeah-Hey, wait! What do you mean?!"

Willow turned bright red as she realized that she had been gotten twice in less than a minute. She shook her head.

"I think that is a bad gene both of you inherited..."

"We get that a lot...But really, how was dinner?"

Willow sat back in the chair and sighed aloud. "It was...great. We talked and laughed and ate. I can honestly say that I had a wonderful night with your extremely gorgeous sister!"

Rachel giggled at the redhead's comment. "So, are y'all going out again?"

"Thursday night we're going to Pleasure Island...And I got her phone number, too." Willow exclaimed.

Rachel chuckled as she stood up to leave. "Well, I am very glad that you will be taking my sister out. I really think you're going to be good for her. Someone who will appreciate her for the person she is, not for the assets she has."

Willow was taken to a special place in her mind at the mention of Tara's assets. Not that her assets are bad or anything... She smirked at her naughty Tara thoughts. Rachel stopped her talking and glared at Willow. Willow felt the ice blue sting of Rachel's gaze.

"Stop doing that, Willow!"

"I didn't do anything...I don't think..."

"You were thinking about Tara's assets. I'm the sister; I've seen every face in the book. You had 'ass' face!"

Willow snorted. "That's ridiculous!! I didn't even look at her...oh, wait..."

"See!! I told you! Stop thinking like that."

"It was your fault for bringing up her ass...sets in the first place."

Rachel took a deep cleansing breath so she could speak more clearly.

"Okay, that's enough. Subject dropped. It never happened and it will never happen in the future. Agreed?"

Willow nodded. "Agreed."

Rachel took out her cell phone while she continued to speak with Willow. "Good then. So what are you doing tomorrow?"

Willow shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not entirely sure."

Rachel absent-mindedly nodded as she spoke into her phone.

"Hey, Beck, come get me."

Beck could clearly be heard on the other end. "Alright, bye."

"Bye." Rachel shut her phone and put it back in into place. "You wanna come back to the Kingdom and watch us in the parade?"

"What time would that be?"

"The parade starts at 3 tomorrow afternoon."

"Okay, I'll be there."

Rachel smiled. "Cool."

Just then, Beck stumbled through the bushes of the pool area. She was out of breath.

"Come on, Rachel. They're doing room checks right now. I didn't even realize it was after curfew. I had to do some crazy Cat Woman shit to get by the chaperones. We gotta jet."

The two younger girls waved good-bye to Willow and took off toward their room. Willow sighed and began her journey back to her room. She removed her cell phone from her pocket and began looking up Tara's number. I can't believe she gave her phone number. What a day this has been...Hey! Where's her number?! Willow scrolled frantically through the "T" section of her phone list, but couldn't find Tara's name or number. Okay...I'm not going to panic. I watched her put her number in here, it's just a matter of finding it.

Willow stopped walking and sat on the hammock Buffy had occupied earlier that evening. She began scrolling down her list of names.

"Amy...Anya...Buffy...Cinder-"

Willow immediately smiled and breathed a sigh of relief. She laughed quietly to herself as she got up and walked to her room.

"Man, I am easy..."

Before Willow even opened the door to the darkened room, she could hear Faith's snoring. As soon as the door closed, she removed her shoes and headed for the bathroom. After relieving herself, she jumped into her bed fully clothed. Within five seconds of closing her tired eyes, she reopened them to see a pair of hazel ones staring back at her. Willow quietly laughed as she saw about a hundred questions flash through her best friend's eyes. Buffy decided to start with the easy stuff.

"So...how was it?" Her child-like curiosity was extremely amusing to the redhead.

"It was great, Buffy. Tara is very nice...ly shaped."

Buffy wore a look of shock on her face. "Willow Danielle Rosenberg, did you get your 'naughty touch' on?"

Willow sighed dramatically. "I wish I had, but alas, it was not meant to be. We just did a lot of talking and flirting. I tried to lay it on thick..."

Through the darkness of the room, Buffy could see Willow's white teeth curled into a devilsh grin. She smiled back and continued her inquisition.

"So what did you guys talk about?"

"We talked about some of everything. Ooh! Get this: You remember Devon from Dingoes, right?"

Buffy nodded eagerly into the darkness.

"Well it turns out that Devon is her cousin and she was actually born in Sunnydale! How crazy is that?!"

"Wow, what a small world..."

"I know. Speaking of, Cordelia is one of her best friends here in town."

Buffy shuddered. "Are you sure she's not on drugs or anything, Will?"

"I'm sure she has to be clean to keep her job."

Buffy shrugged. "I guess you're right."

"I always am, Buff."

Buffy tossed her pillow at the unsuspecting redhead. Willow squealed and threw it back. Buffy anticipated the toss and rolled off the bed, causing the pillow to smack the still sleeping Faith right in the face. Faith sat straight up in the bed, profanities pouring from her mouth.

"B, what the fuckin' hell are you doing?! Are you fuckin' havin' a pillow fight? It's after midnight! What the hell?..."

Buffy and Willow couldn't hold in their laughter any longer. Willow rolled onto the floor with Buffy, doubled over with laughter.

Faith rolled back over in the bed. "I'm glad you find this so damn funny. You both need to fuckin' go back to sleep..."

Seconds later, the sound of laughter was drowned out by intense snoring coming from Buffy's bed. The girls began to gather themselves from the carpeted floor and back to their respective beds.

"Man, does she always snore this loud?"

Buffy got a funny look on her face. "You think she's loud with the snoring; You should've heard her in that bathroom today. That was..."

Buffy didn't even have to look in Willow's direction to know that she was receiving the Willow-glare full force. "Sorry, Wills."

"You should be, you horn dog."

Buffy settled under the covers, curled up next to her wife as she drifted off to sleep. "And proud of it..."

Willow chuckled at her best friend. "Good night, Buff."

The only sounds returned to Willow were the combined snoring of Faith and Buffy.

Willow smiled to herself as she fell into a fitful sleep, dreaming of her newly found princess.
