"This is a bad plan." Willow protested. "In fact this is the worst plan I think that I have ever heard in my ENTIRE life, and hanging around with Faith? I've heard a lot of bad plans. This one's the worst."
The girls and Jacen had all gathered aboard the Fantastic Kat, mulling over the plan Leia had given them...
"Faith?" Leia asked.
"Yeah?" Faith responded.
"You're going to take Willow, restrain her, and collect the bounty on her."
"WHAT!?" Willow and Tara simultaneously shouted.
"I'm not finished yet." Leia assured. "Willow, now inside Nuurba's nearly impenetrable fortress, unlocks her fake restraints, and open the blast doors allowing Jaina inside-"
"And what if Nuurba kills me right there? Huh?" A panicked Willow demanded. Tara quickly moved to her side and began rubbing the middle of her back in an attempt to soothe the distraught redhead.
"But he won't," Leia smiled. "That's where Tara and Jacen come in. Shortly before Faith's audience with Nuurba, Tara and Jacen will have one too. They're looking to buy some brand new dancing girls for a cantina that they're opening up on Tattooine. Whether Nuurba bites or not is irrelevant. Jacen and Tara will stay in the audience chamber when Faith presents Willow, using the Force to persuade Nuurba not to kill her."
"Oh. Well that makes it all better... EXCEPT THAT JEDI MIND TRICKS DON'T WORK ON HUTTS." Willow shouted.
"They work." Tara spoke quietly. "It's just hard. But with two of us, and with Jacen being so strong in the Living Force... we might be able to do it."
"Don't sell yourself short, Tara." Luke spoke up. "You're no feather weight in the Living Force department yourself."
"It wouldn't have to be a big invasion either." Jacen piped up. "We only need to make sure that Nuurba wants Willow to live through the night. If we planted another idea... like..."
"Slow torture..." Jaina supplied earning a glare from Willow and Tara. "What?"
"Torture! That's perfect." Jacen enthused. "I'm sure that thought has occurred to Nuurba often enough, so he won't be too alarmed to be thinking it again."
"I think that would work..." Tara said slowly. "But if we don't succeed, Willow's a goner." She frowned.
"I'm opposed to Willow dying." Willow raised her hand in protest.
"As are we." Leia consoled. "But Tara and Jacen will be in the room with you, light sabers ready. They won't let any harm come to you." Tara stiffened at Willow's side. Fighting? They want me to fight? Real beings? With weapons? Tara began to panic.
"Calm yourself Tara." Luke soothed. "You'll be fine, and you'll do what is necessary to ensure everyone, including bystanders leaves unharmed."
Han spoke up. "Once Jaina is inside, she just has to locate Nuurba's data-base, in order to upload this." Han held up a tiny diskette. "This program will activate two weeks after being uploaded, wreaking havoc in Nuurba's files, his bank accounts, his records, and any and all business transactions that the slimy Hutt happens to make." He said with a grin. "Nuurba's empire falls, or at least takes a tremendous hit that he never recovers from."
"Why don't we kill Nuurba, and save ourselves the trouble?" Faith asked.
"Gotta agree with Faith on this one." Willow interjected. "If we just kill him, it's done. Plain. Simple. Effective."
"Jedi don't go on assassination missions, Faith." Jaina said quietly.
"Oh..." Faith trailed off.
Leia sighed. "The thought had occurred to us, yes." Leia said slowly earning a glare from Luke. "But if we kill Nuurba, another Hutt will just slither into his place. Nuurba needs to stay alive as a stopper. If it's necessary, by all means kill him. You are all more far more important."
"Not to mention that once Nuurba starts making electronic transactions with other Hutts, anyone really, they're going to get the virus too. If we're lucky we could take out more organizations than just Nuurba's." Han stated.
"But they're going to figure it out sooner or later." Willow observed. "All they need is one good slicer to clean up the virus."
"By the time they realize that it will have wreaked enough havoc." Leia stated. "So, there you have it. Questions? Comments?"
"This is a bad plan." Willow protested. "In fact this is the worst plan I think that I have ever heard in my ENTIRE life, and hanging around with Faith? I've heard a lot of bad plans. This one's the worst." Tara looked at Willow forlornly. Willow sighed when she saw Tara's face. She was scared, but she was ready to do her part to do what was right. "But I guess it'll have to do." Willow grumbled.
"Alright Red." Faith said smirking slapping her on the shoulder. "Let's blow this popsicle stand."
