Disclaimer: Unfortunately neither Tara nor Willow are mine. Neither's anyone else in this fic for that matter!

"I know I've been thinking of her a lot today, but this is plain ridiculous!" Tara thought, blinking again. She was about to raise her hands to rub her eyes when the illusion that was Willow spoke her name. "Ok now I hear her talk to me...I need help!"

Just then Tara felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around she saw herself standing face to face with Buffy.

"Tara?" the smaller blonde asked.

"Buffy???" Tara said, her brow creasing.

"Tara?" the blonde heard her name called again from the doorway, and turned around to face the illusion, who by now Tara was beginning to suspect might actually be Willow. She saw a darker haired girl walk up behind Willow.

"Buffy!" Dawn said, seeing her sister standing behind Tara.

"Willow?" Tara finally managed to get out.

"Tara?" a male voice said, and Ira walked up to the doorway as well.

"Ira!" Tara said, recognizing her tennis partner.

All this happened in a matter of 10 seconds, and suddenly there was silence. A moment later Buffy said, "Well, that's definitely the most name calling I've heard ... well, forever!" Everyone laughed, as the awkward silence was suddenly broken.

"Tara! Buffy! C'mon in why don't you?" Ira said, beckoning the two girls indoor.

Tara followed Buffy in, stopping along with Buffy to take off her coat and hang it near the doorway, before following the rest of the group through to the living room. The blonde still didn't understand exactly what was happening.

"You people already know eachother?" Ira asked, as he settled down on one of the leather armchairs.

"I don't... I mean I know OF her", Dawn said, looking at Tara, "But I don't actually know KNOW her, if you know what I mean!"

Buffy looked at her kid sister, and shook her head at the nonsense she was talking, before smiling at Tara and then looking at Ira and saying "Yeah, Willow and I know Tara... she plays handball for UC Sunnydale, and I was a part of the team this year too..."

"And I just went along for the whole 'moral support' bit!" WIllow finally said, catching Tara's eye and smiling.

"That's where I've seen that smile!" Tara exclaimed out loud, before blushing at her outburst, and the fact that everyone in the room was now staring at her with extremely curious expressions.

"Umm... care to expand on that one liner?" Buffy asked, smiling slightly.

"Its just..." Tara said slowly, not liking being the centre of attention... "I just noticed... you know... It's just... Ira smiles exactly like WIllow...no actually Willow smiles exactly like Ira, since she came later...I mean she was obviously born later..." Tara saw everyone expressions changing to 'amused' and stopped rambling "I'm losing the point aren't I?!" When everyone nodded and grinned, Tara took a deep breath and summed it up "See, Willow DOES smile exactly like Ira, and it's been nagging me ever since I've met Ira... you know, who's smile his smile reminds me of... and now I know!"

"Aah! It all makes sense now!" Ira said, smirking.

"Hey, what did you mean by you know 'of' Tara?" Buffy asked, looking at her sister. Ira and Tara followed suit, gazing at the teen.

Willow didn't hear Buffy ask that question... her mind was elsewhere... "She remembered my smile..." the red head thought, a smile that managed to look both dreamy and goofy at the same time coming across her face...
