"Okie dokie guys. I'm gonna head out, I'll see ya'll in about three hours or so... kay?" Willow asked her friends as she gathered up her things for the ballet class that she would not miss.

"Will, you do know that you still have about an hour before the class actually starts, right? I know that you wanna get there early, but, geez!" Xander asked her with a sarcastic grin on his face.

"Yeah, Red, it's like yer the energizer bunny or somethin'. never stoppin'" Faith told her.

"I know, but I told you, I need to stretch and warm up before the teacher and students get there, so I don't mess up or embarrass myself in front of the students, then they'll always think 'oh, that's just the assistant, Willow, don't worry about her, she's a ditz, and can't dance' and then I'll be a ditz and no one will want to hire me and I'll be out of a job, and end up poor and on the streets, and no one wants that!" Willow told her friends in one giant breath.

"We got it Will, have fun, kay?" Xander replied with his goofy half-smile.

"Geez Red, next time take a breath!" Faith replied laughing. "Sure Faith, next time, but I gotta run... er... dance" Willow told Faith while grabbing a lemon PowerAde out of the fridge and heading out the door.

Tara and Buffy were finishing up their lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen, when Buffy told Tara that she still had an hour left before her class, and if she wanted to do anything before it started.

"I don't know Buff, I want to, but I don't want to be late for class."

"Yeah, right hun, you wouldn't be late for class if your head was on fire," Buffy told her, knowing that Tara loved dancing as well as teaching, no matter how difficult the students could be.

"Well, I guess we could make a quick walk around the Barnes 'n' Noble down the street for like 35 minutes," Tara told Buffy, being unable to resist the pout that Buffy was unrelentingly giving her.

"Yippee!!" Buffy said, already juiced up from the 2 cups of coffee she drank in the past four minutes.

Willow had arrived in the Art Of Ballet dance studio a full 50 minutes early for class, and had already had time to change into her leotard, and begin warming up before her alarm on her watch told her there were only 45 minutes left before the dance class

"Oh, shoot! I'm late! I should've been here early, but NO! Had to take a looooong shower! Stupid tempting pulsating showerhead." The redhead inwardly cursed letting Faith buy that, but only for a second. "It's okay; I'll get into shape twice as fast!" Willow told herself, mad that she let herself be an entire five minutes late.

Willow had been working out for twenty minutes and was already working up a sweat, as she reached for her PowerAde and gulped half of it down in one giant sip. "Ok, Rosenberg, you're not quittin' now! Nuh-huh, we are still workin double time!" Willow told herself to keep her energy up, even though she was already getting tired. She got back to work and was pushing herself just as hard as she could.

Tara still had about five minutes before she had to get to the studio, and was in line at the bookstore purchasing a Strawberry PowerAde and a romance novel that Buffy was to busy getting flirted with by one of the sales-people to buy for herself. Buffy hadn't been out with anyone in some time, and Tara was beginning to get worried for her. Buffy just didn't seem interested in the guys around NYU, the college where Buffy was currently enrolled, and attending, when she didn't skip out on classes. Tara dragged a thankful Buffy away from a leechy, losery, Trekkie looking guy, as she told her, "Do I always have to save you from guys like that?"

"As long as they keep on hitting on me, and I wish they would just stop, seriously, it's getting on my last nerve, well not the last one, but just it's annoying." Buffy told her with a laugh.

"Well, Buffy, here's the book, and I'm sorry, but I have to get to class now, gotta be there early, set up, you know, the usual pre-class rituals that I tend to do."

"Alright Tare, have fun at class, I hope your supervisor, assistant-y person, or whoever's supposed to be coming today, and give me a call later? Lemme know how it goes, kay?" Buffy asked as she was walking back towards Starbucks.

"Alrighty then, see ya Buff!" Tara yelled at the retreating figure of the blonde. Tara still had fifteen minutes before the class would start and decided to walk casually, and not in a hurry like she usually would.

Tara opened the side entrance in the alleyway to the left of the studio, seeing as that would be easier because of the direction she was walking from. She headed into the individual room where she taught 5 days a week to students who needed each and every minute of the practice. As she walked into the room, her gaze first landed on the large mirror that covered the wall facing the window. In it, she saw the beautiful redhead she had been seeing so often, or yet it seemed like it, eyes closed in a look of pure concentration as she struggled with her 5th position turnout, a thin sheen of sweat covering her leotard clad body, a few copper strands clinging to her forehead, and the blonde thought that she was positively beautiful, and couldn't look sexier.

Willow was struggling with her 5th position turnout, deep in concentration, seeing as she had been trying for a good twenty minutes on and off, but still could not perfect it as she had done just less than a month ago. She noticed a presence in the room, and opened her eyes to find that "blonde dancer" of her dreams, literally, standing across the room from her, looking more beautiful than one person should without looking like it took any effort at all. Her breath was taken away as the two continued to gaze into each others eyes, not quite sure of what to say next.

Tara was so caught up in staring at the sexy redhead, that she didn't realize that she hadn't yet spoken a word. "Um. can I help you?" She asked tentatively. She knew that no one should have been using the room, as it was hers and only for her or her classes use, but somehow, she didn't think that she could ever possibly get angry at the redhead.

"Oh... yes, I'm Rosenberg, Willow Rosenberg, I was supposed to supervise this class, starting yesterday, but uh... something came up, and I'm sorry, but I'm here now, and this is the room for the beginners dance class right?... Cause if it isn't, I'm sorry, I thought this was the room, and I thought I should've come in early to get warmed up, and I did, and that was way to long for an ordinary human being to comprehend wasn't it?" Willow told the blonde that she still was so captivated by, that she couldn't bring herself to look away from her eyes. Tara laughed a laugh that was so sensual, that Willow thought that she could hear it every day for the rest of forever and never get tired of it.

"Um... well, first of all, this is the class that I teach, I'm Tara, Maclay (she held out her hand and Willow took it immediately, and gripped it tightly, for some reason never wanting to let go), I thought you got lost (she said with a teasing smirk, earning a blush from the redhead), this is the beginners dance class, though it doesn't start for another few minutes, so yeah, you're in the right place, and it's fine that you come in early, the rooms specifically used for this class, I leased it from Mr. Giles, the owner, and a family friend, and if that shouldn't be comprehendible by ordinary human beings, I guess I'm not normal, 'cause I get it." Tara told Willow with another throaty laugh.

"I'd say extra-ordinary" Willow said with a wink, already becoming very comfortable with the blonde, still not letting go of her hand, as the blonde was not showing any feelings that she wanted to, at least not anytime soon.
